Core Responsibilities
- Conduct professional teeth cleaning and plaque removal
- Educate patients on advanced oral hygiene techniques
- Perform periodontal assessments and treatments
- Assist in preventive dentistry and early diagnosis
- Support dentists during periodontal and prophylactic procedures
- Maintain and sterilize hygiene instruments

Requirements

- Medical fitness certificate
- Police clearance certificate
- Recognized school certificates (depending on the state)
- Some programs require a short internship (Hospitation) or trial day
- Prior completion of Dental Assistant (ZFA) Ausbildung is usually required (in most cases)
