Core Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room (OR) and surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during operations by handing tools, holding equipment, suctioning, etc.
- Maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after surgery
- Monitor patient vital signs and help position patients pre-surgery
- Clean, sterilize, and inventory surgical instruments
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses

- Outpatient surgical centers
- Specialized surgical clinics
- Endoscopy and central sterile supply departments (ZSVA)
Skills Required
- Precise, detail-oriented
- Strong stomach (surgical procedures)
- Physical stamina and focus
- Sterility, hygiene, and emergency handling
Eligibility Criteria
- 12th grade pass (Science stream preferred)
- German language level B2 (Goethe/telc/ÖSD certified)
- Medical fitness certificate
- Police clearance certificate
- Recognized school certificate via ANABIN or ZAB
- German-format CV and motivation letter
- Some clinics require internship or trial day (Hospitation) before Ausbildung
