Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate loading and unloading of ships at port terminals.
  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing cargo shipments.
  • Handle customs and freight documentation.
  • Operate port logistics systems for tracking goods and containers.
  • Communicate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and international shipping regulations.

Skills Required

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of maritime transport processes, port equipment operations, and logistics software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in shifts.
  • Understanding of safety and environmental regulations.

Educational Qualification

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) with good grades in Mathematics, English, and preferably Commerce or Science subjects.

German Language Level

  • Goethe/telc B1 minimum for application; B2 strongly recommended before starting.

Recognition of School Certificates

  • Must be verified through ANABIN database or assessed by ZAB.

  • Police clearance certificate (PCC)
  • Motivation letter and German-format CV
