Core Responsibilities

  • Preparing surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive for tile installation
  • Cutting and shaping tiles using hand tools and machinery to fit layouts
  • Laying ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, or mosaic tiles for floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Applying grout and sealants to ensure durability and water resistance
  • Reading and following blueprints or design plans for tiling patterns
  • Repairing and replacing damaged or worn tiles in residential, commercial, or industrial spaces

  • Hotel, spa, and swimming pool installations

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of tile types, adhesives, and grouting techniques
  • Precision in measurement, cutting, and alignment
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various postures
  • Understanding of workplace safety and tool handling
  • Attention to detail for aesthetic and functional finishes
  • Problem-solving and teamwork skills

Educational Qualification

  • 10+2 / Higher Secondary Certificate (any stream; basic mathematics preferred)

German Language Level

  • Minimum B1 (Goethe/telc) – B2 preferred for better career prospects

Recognition of School Certificates

  • Via ANABIN/ZAB for equivalence in Germany

Other Requirements

  • Medical clearance (fit for physical and manual work)
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Motivation letter and German-format CV
  • Willingness to adapt to German work culture and quality standards
